Abstract
The main objective of the Gender Protection Survey was to provide reliable indicators on the situation of women and on gender dynamic as well as gender protection in the five capital cities of southern Sudan.It was expected that the research would inform policy making and contribute to the development of new strategies supported by international community .It would also contribute to build evidence towards the creation of future gender laws in southern Sudan and the survey report would complement other agencies effort to build a national gender protection policy.
