Questionnaires
The Population and Housing Census was comprised of two questionnaires that were in English and Arabic.
1. Long Form (LFQ)

Supervision
The coordinator duties and responsibilities included:
1. Ensuring that the census listing work started at least three days before the commencement of enumeration and that the enumeration started in time in all areas assigned to him/her. Reported any delays and problems to the state statistical director immediately.
2. Made sure that homeless persons and persons in transit were covered on census night and special arrangements were made for their enumeration. Met with officials and staff who managed transportation points such as drivers on public transport routes, airstrips, etc. to gain cooperation and explain the enumeration procedures.
3. Saw that proper arrangements were been made for enumeration of institutional and special populations like hotels, hospitals, boarding schools, refugees, IDPS, nomads, etc. and that their enumeration was being done as per the prescribed procedures.
4. Made contact with field officers on a daily basis to check if there were any problems that needed to be addressed immediately.
The field officer duties and responsibilities included:
1. He/she would attend the higher-level training for census so that he/she was aware of the whole census process.
2. Assisted with the training of supervisors and enumerators including making necessary arrangements at the training centers.
3. He/she ensured that all supervisors and enumerators including the reserves attended the training. He/she would take attendance of all supervisors, enumerators and others attending the training.
4. The field officer ensured that the training schedule was strictly followed and that good quality training was imparted in all the centers under their control.
5. Distribution of training materials before training and enumeration materials including enumeration area (EA) and supervision area (SA) maps, census listing booklets and the questionnaires were distributed before the enumeration staff left the training center.
6. He/she would find a place for a temporary field census office with the assistance of the local administration. He/she would operate from this office.
7. He/she is responsible for deployment of supervisors and enumerators to their areas.
The census field supervisor's responsibilities included:
Primary responsibility as a census field supervisor was to supervise, instruct and lead a team of enumerators. Some would complete the Short Form Questionnaire (SFQ), while others would complete the Long Form Questionnaire (LFQ).
